This sculpture, "A Performance for Pigeons", was created by the instillation artists, Ingrid Falk & Gustavo Aguerre, and celebrated the opening of the Venice Bennial. She is made completely in bread and was carried through the streets to the varporetto.

All that was left of her the next day, after tourists, holligans and pigeons had had their fill was, a left foot, a left hand and half a right hand. She was then taken to Stockholme where she was became relics.

Lennie Lee

This piece by lennie Lee is a street instillation which causes much controversy at the time of its release. It lasted a month before it was taken away.

Some more of Lennie Lee's work is shocking, especially his work on series photgraphy involving the knawing of slaughtered sheep.

Art

So far for this project I have researched various artists who use instillations. As this is a new topic for me I am having to make up for it by reading as much as possible on the subject. The articles that I have found useful/interesting, I have saved on my delicious site :)
